My
name is Karol. I am 40 years old. I have loved drawing as long
as I can remember. In high school, Art was my favorite class.
Colored pencils have always been my favorite medium.
I
had not drawn with colored pencils since high school until January,
2008. I haven't stopped since. I have recently begun drawing
home renderings for others. I have found this to be a very rewarding
path. Each structure is unique and challenging in its own
way.
I
thank God for the ability He has given me to draw.
I
live on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. Living here is an
inspiring place. I am surrounded by the natural beauty of the Gulf
of Mexico, the magnificent dune lakes, gorgeous state parks, and just as inspiring
-the amazing architecture of Seaside, WaterColor, Rosemary Beach and many
other places here.
On
a more personal note, I started running in December, 2007. I
completed my first half marathon November 30, 2008 at the Space Coast
Marathon, Cocoa Beach, FL.
Running
is something I have always wanted to do and I have found it to be
rewarding in many ways. I feel healthier, I can eat a piece of
cheesecake and not feel guilty, it is a reason to be outside in the fresh
air, it has made me stronger physically and as a person. I feel more
confident in knowing I can set goals and achieve them through perseverance,
and I also feel it gets me away from the computer, my cell phone, and
other distractions for a while several days a week and I can clear my
head. I have seen some of the most beautiful sunrises and
sunsets while running.
